A HEALTHIER VERSION OF A TACO BURGER LIKE I USED TO GET FROM TACO TICO, A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT IN MIDWEST AREA. SO YUMMY.

Recipe Ingredients for TACO BURGER

1 pound GROUND TURKEY
1 medium CHOPPED ONION
30 grams TACO SEASONING
8 WHOLE WHEAT HAMBURGER BUNS
2 1/2 cups SHREDDED LETTUCE
1/2 cup SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE
1/2 cup CHOPPED TOMATOES

Recipe Directions for TACO BURGER

  1. PREPARE GROUND TURKEY AND ONION AS PER THE DIRECTIONS ON TACO SEASONING PACKAGE.

  2. LAYER TURKEY, LETTUCE, CHEESE AND TOMATO ON BUN (JUST LIKE A TACO) AND ENJOY!

  3. MY KIDS LOVE THIS!

  4. *note: this recipe is for 8 burgers. I only eat one but my family has 2 each and I use my second portion for a salad, etc because of the calories from the bun. So, if you have 2, double the serving calories.
