Makes 1 serving

Serve cold with a side of fresh hummus.

Recipe Ingredients for TABOULI

1 cup Bulgar Wheat
3 Medium Tomatoes
1 cup, pared, chopped Cucumber, Peeled
0.5 medium Green Bell Pepper
1 cup, diced Celery
0.75 cup Parsley
30 grams Mint
1 fruit (2-1/8" dia) Lemons
3 tbsp Oil Olive Pure
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for TABOULI

  1. Boil 2 cups water and add to bulgar in a bowl with lid; allow to steam for half an hour. Place in collander and drain off (and squeeze out) any remaining water.

  2. Chop all veggies into a fine dice and add to prepared and drained bulgar.

  3. In small bowl, mix juice from one lemon with oil, salt & pepper. Mix well and add to the rest of the ingredients.

  4. Add cut green onions if you like onions... but since I don't like them, they are not in this recipe.
