Recipe Ingredients for T McC black bean chili

16 oz Beans Black
3 cup (8 fl oz) Water
2 cup, chopped Onions
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Yellow
1 tablespoon Baking Cocoa
2 tablespoons No Calorie Sweetener
4 tablespoons Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Pepper Or Hot
3 tbsp Chili Powder
0.67 tablespoon Oregano
3 tsp Cumin
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
4 clove Garlic
29 oz Diced Tomatoes
12 oz Tomatoes Paste
1/4 tsp Salt, Table
16 oz Ground Turkey

Recipe Directions for T McC black bean chili

Cover dried beans with water & soak for 6 or more hours. Drain water & put beans in a large pan. Cover with water so water is 2" above beans. Boil for 5 minutes. Turn off & let beans sit for 30 minutes or more. Meanwhile brown ground turkey and coarsely chop all the vegetables. Drain beans. Use a large crock pot and add all the ingredients. You can add more hot sauce & chili powder, if desired. Cook on low for 6-10 hours. Ladle 1 cup into each bowl & enjoy. Leftovers freeze well, if desired.
