A yummy open sandwich great for breakfast or lunch!

Recipe Ingredients for T.H.E. Open Sandwich (Tomato, Ham, and Egg)

1 slice, regular(24 g) Bread, Rye, Toasted
2 serving Deli style Ham Smoked
1 large Egg, Whole
1 cup Tomatoes, Red, Ripe

Recipe Directions for T.H.E. Open Sandwich (Tomato, Ham, and Egg)

  1. Toast Bread.

  2. Crack and fry egg without scrambling on medium heat.

  3. Dice tomato and cook in pan with butter until reduced.

  4. Fry ham in pan until slightly browned.

  5. Layer ingredients onto bread starting with ham, then egg and topped with cooked tomatoes.

  6. You could add another slice of bread for a complete sandwich or eat open with a fork. Enjoy!

  7. (A teaspoon of spicy brown mustard on the bread adds a nice kick, but it has a lot of sodium-no thanks!)
