Szechuan Chicken Recipe

Recipe orginially by alleycatlady. I adjusted it just a bit for my family and my logs. All credit goes to her.

Recipe Ingredients for Szechuan Chicken

2 chicken breast, boneless and skinless cut into cubes
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
2 garlic cloves
2 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
3/4 tbsp white wine vinegar
1/8 cup water
1/2 tsp white sugar
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Szechuan Chicken

  1. Place the chicken and cornstarch into a bag or bowl, and toss to coat.

  2. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chichen pieces and garlic, stirring constantly until lightly browned.

  3. Stir in the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and water.

  4. Stir in the cayenne pepper

  5. Cook uncovered for about 2 more minutes. Serve over rice.
