Makes 6 servings

Tvorog patties, little cheesecakes/pancakes. *Note: Under ingredients, notice that 3 cups of 1% milk and 3/4 cup low fat buttermilk is written under one cup of Tvorog; that was the only way I could get the nutritional info to be as accurate as possible. To make this recipe, see my Tvorog recipe and use one cup of that. Essentially, you are ignoring the ingredients listed under Tvorog and instead just using one cup of Tvorog. I hope that this is not too confusing!

Recipe Ingredients for Syrniki 3

Tvorog (One cup):
3 cups 1% milk
3/4 cup low fat buttermilk

Syrniki:
3/4 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp Salt (to taste)
2 T Oil (for frying)

Recipe Directions for Syrniki 3

Mix tvorog, flour, sugar, egg (beaten), and salt in a bowl. Form small balls with the dough by rolling it in your hands. Then smash these balls so that they form flat patties. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Put two patties into the skillet at a time and fry on each side. When golden, remove and keep warm until all are prepared. Top with sour cream and honey or jam.
