Slow cooked round steak with veggies.

Recipe Ingredients for Swiss Steak with Carrots

16 ounces beef round steak
1 celery stalk
1 carrot
1/2 onion
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes
1/4 cup tomato juice
1 packet onion soup mix

Recipe Directions for Swiss Steak with Carrots

  1. Season steak with salt and garlic powder, if desired. Place in 4-5 quart slow cooker.

  2. Chop celery, carrots and onions. Add to slow cooker.

  3. Mix Wrocestershire sauce, tomatoes, tomato juice and onion soup mix, pour over steak and vegetables.

  4. Cover. Cook on low 7-10 hours. If desired, thicken juices with flour/water mixture. (Not included in calculation.)
