Swiss-style breakfast of fruit and yoghurt and oats.

Recipe Ingredients for Swiss Muesli

1 serving Yoghurt
0.33 cup Rolled Oats
1 medium (3") Apples
1 Tbsp Flax Seed Whole Golden Roasted
0.5 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
1 tsp Ginger Root
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Swiss Muesli

  1. Grate half an apple and a small slice of ginger into a bowl (or chop fine)

  2. Add two (small) spoons of Greek-style non-fat plain yoghurt

  3. Add a palm-full of steel-cut oats

  4. Add a sprinkle of whole flax seeds

  5. Pour in a splash of non-fat milk to help mix the yoghurt and oats with the other ingredients

  6. Add cinnamon to taste

  7. Optional: Try other fruits as well - pears, oranges, raisins, bananas, berries, etc.
