Recipe Ingredients for Swiss Chard Salad

1.5 cup, chopped Chard, Swiss
1 head (5" dia) Lettuce, Butterhead
1 tomato Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
3 tbsp Aged Balsamic Vinegar
0.5 avocado, NS as to Florida or California Avocados
2 oz Minced Garlic
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Swiss Chard Salad

  2. 1. Heat the olive oil on a large skillet over medium low heat. Stir in the garlic and cook until tender and aromatic, about 2 minutes. Add the Swiss chard and balsamic vinegar; cook and stir until the chard is wilted and tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in sliced tomatoes and sliced Avacado. Stir and simmer till tomatoes and Avacado are warmed. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
