Recipe Ingredients for Sweet-and-sour Shrimp

8 ounce pineapple chunks in juice
1 teaspoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons chili sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce, low sodium
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 Cooking spray
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 red bell pepper
1/2 medium onion
3/4 pound shrimp
2 cups cooked rice

Recipe Directions for Sweet-and-sour Shrimp

  1. make a sauce out of pineapple juice, cornstarch, chili sauce, soy sauce and garlic powder

  2. heat skillet with oil and spray then add onion and bell pepper to get tender

  3. add pineapple and shrimp and cook through

  4. add cornstarch mixture and cook till nice and bubbly

  5. serves 4
