Found this recipe on allrecipes.com, I may substitute Splenda Brown Sugar Mix for brown sugar, but I'm not sure yet. Serve with "basic meatballs"

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet & Sour Sauce (for meatballs)

1 cup Brown Sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
300 g Pineapple
6 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
2/3 cup water
75 g red pepper
100 g Carrot
2 cups pineapple juice

Recipe Directions for Sweet & Sour Sauce (for meatballs)

  1. To make the sauce, mix enough water with the reserved pineapple juice to make 1 cup. In a large pot over medium heat, combine the juice mixture, 1/3 cup water, vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir in cornstarch, until smooth. Cover and cook until thickened.

  2. Stir pineapple chunks, carrot, red pepper and meatballs into the sauce. Gently stir to coat the meatballs with the sauce. Simmer, uncovered.
