Sweet and sour pork with red pepper and broccoli

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet and Sour Pork

1 lb pork tenderloin
2 tsp vegetable oil
2 tsp garlic
3 c broccoli
1 c red bell pepper
15 oz pineapple
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp orange juice
1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Sweet and Sour Pork

  1. Cook pork in oil

  2. Remove pork from pan

  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 min

  4. Add broccoli and red pepper and cook until tender crisp (about 5-6 min)

  5. Drain pineapple and set aside 1/2 c juice.

  6. To pineapple juice add remaining ingredients and stir until smooth

  7. Add pineapple juice mixture to veggies in pan and cook for about 2 min until thick and bubbly

  8. Add pork and pineapple and cook through until heated all the way through (another 2 min)

  9. Serve with brown rice if desired
