Sweet and Sour chicken, no batter.

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet and Sour Chicken

400 g bell peppers (1in pieces)
400 g onion (eighths)
625 g chicken breast (cubed)
432 g tinned pineapple in juice
1 tbsp cornflour
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp white vinegar

Recipe Directions for Sweet and Sour Chicken

  1. fry chicken in spray oil until browned then set aside.

  2. fry peppers and onion for 5 mins or until softened.

  3. combine cornflour, soy sauce, 125ml of water, tomato sauce, vinegar and juice from pineapple in a bowl. add to peppers and onions.

  4. add chicken and boil for 5/10mins until thickened and chicken is cooked through.

  5. Stir in pineapple pieces and warm for further 3/4mins.
