Sweet potatoes done a new way. Not sweet and with mushrooms and broccoli.

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Potato Surprise

4 c sweet potatoes (cut in cubes)
8 oz mushrooms
12 oz broccoli florets (frozen)
1 tbsp I can't believe it's not butter
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp garlic

Recipe Directions for Sweet Potato Surprise

  1. saute garlic and mushrooms until mushrooms are soft

  2. season with salt, pepper, rosemary and dill

  3. add vinegar

  4. boil sweet potatoes for 5 minutes

  5. add broccoli and boil until broccoli is soft

  6. vegetables should not be mushy

  7. add potatoes and broccoli to the mushroom mixture

  8. add margarine and saute for 2-3 minutes

  9. season with rosemary and dill to taste
