Homemade, baked sweet potato fries.

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Potato Fries

1 medium sweet potato
1/2 tbs vegetable oil
1 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Sweet Potato Fries

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degF. Lightly spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray; set aside.

  2. Wash the sweet potato. I leave the skin on, but you can peel it if you want.

  3. Cut potato into whatever shapes you want. Thin shapes will be more crispy; I prefer to do thin wedges, so the ends are crispy but the thick part has gooey sweet potato inside.

  4. Put the potato pieces in a plastic bag, add the oil, and shake.

  5. Arrange the fries on the cookie sheet, and bake for 15 minutes. Rearrange (flip) the fries, bake for 5-10 minutes.

  6. When done, sprinkle the cinnamon over the fries and serve hot!
