A yummy easy satisfying substitute for french fries.

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Potato Fries

2 tbs butter (I use smart balance)
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
4 sweetpotato, sliced

Recipe Directions for Sweet Potato Fries

  1. Preheat oven to 450.

  2. Slice potatoes into thin fry shapes with large chef's knife.

  3. Mix melted butter and spices together and toss the potatoes in it.

  4. Place spiced fries on a baking sheet covered in foil or parchment paper. Do not crowd the pan.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.

  6. Place potatoes under the broiler, turning every minute or so and keep a close eye on them. Broil for as long as you can without burning them.

  7. Serve immediately.
