Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Potato Dip

2 sweet potatos
1 tablespoon dried marjoram, crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for Sweet Potato Dip

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Wash and dry the sweet potatoes and poke holes in them with the tines of a fork. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for one hour, or until soft. Set aside until cool enough to handle. Remove and discard the skins.

  3. Place the sweet potatoes in a food processor. Add the marjoram, nutmeg, salt, black pepper and red-pepper flakes.

  4. Blend until satin smooth. With the processor running, slowly add the oil through the feed tube.
