This wonderful holiday side dish could double as a dessert! Low in calories, a serving size is 1/2 cup. This is also a great dish to experiment. Try golden raisins or currants, apple chunks. Go 'au natural' by being totally sugar free by using regular Splenda, no sugar or sugar substitute.

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Potato Cassarole

40 ounce Sweet potatoes, canned, drained
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice
10 ounces crushed pineapple
1/2 cup Splenda brown sugar, Firmly packed
1 cup Chopped pecans

Recipe Directions for Sweet Potato Cassarole

  1. Mix all ingredients together

  2. Put mixture into pyrex dish

  3. bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes

  4. May put marshmellows or chopped pecans on top to garnish
