Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Potato Buiscuits

2 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup yam, baked and mashed
3 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp brown sugar
2/3 cup milk, non-fat

Recipe Directions for Sweet Potato Buiscuits

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.

  2. Combine mashed yam, butter, sugar, and milk.

  3. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients.

  4. Stir until blended and sticky.

  5. Knead five or six times.

  6. Roll out onto floured surface and use a buiscuit cutter to make buiscuts.

  7. Bake at 425 for 12 minutes.
