Nice mini biscuits for hor's douvres - good for turkey and cranberry sandwiches.

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Potato Biscuits

2 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
2.5 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.15 tbsp Ground Ginger
6 tbsp Butter
6 tsp packed Sugars, Brown
1 cup, mashed Sweetpotato

Recipe Directions for Sweet Potato Biscuits

  1. Mix together all dry ingredients.

  2. Rub butter into dry ingredients until the butter is the size of cornmeal.

  3. Mix together sweet potato and milk.

  4. Pour over dry ingredients and mix gently until thoroughly combined.

  5. Turn out onto a floured surface and pat out to 1/2" thick.

  6. Cut into 2" diameter biscuits.

  7. Bake at 425F until golden brown and firm.
