Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Peas 'n' Almonds

1 cup frozen(84 g) Sweet Peas
1 oz Almonds Sliced
1/2 tbsp Butter
1/2 grams Made from Evaporated Sea Water Iodized Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Sweet Peas 'n' Almonds

  1. Use a microwave safe bowl that's large enough to hold all ingredients. Special notes: cooking time may vary due to microwave power rating and altitude; recipe as presented was heated using a 1000W microwave, at an altitude of approx 4500 feet.

  2. Place 1 oz of almonds into the bottom of the bowl.

  3. Pour 1 cup of frozen sweet peas into the bowl over the top of the almonds.

  4. Put approx. 1/2 tbsp. of unsalted butter on top of sweet peas.

  5. Microwave for approx 3 minutes 40 seconds.

  6. Sprinkle a pinch (roughly 1/4 tsp) of iodized sea salt on top and stir in with ingredients. Although it tastes fine without the salt, the salt does meld the flavors very favorably.

  7. Serve, serves 1.
