A tasty glaze for salmon, chicken, pork or any other fish/meat you want to grill. Wonderful with salmon or chicken.

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet n' Heat glaze

1 serving Apricot nectar Vita
2 tbsp Honey, Strained Or Extracted
1 serving soy sauce 40% sodium reduced
3 tsp Ginger Root
1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
0.33 cup, halves Apricots, Dried, Sulfured, Uncooked

Recipe Directions for Sweet n' Heat glaze

For glaze, in a medium saucepan stir together: apricot nectar, chopped apricots, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes or until mixture is thickened and reduced by half. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and measure 1/4 cup glaze for basting the salmon, chicken, pork or whatever meat you are using and set the rest aside. Grill the fish, meat until it reaches the internal temperature required for the fish/meat.and then brush the 1/4c glaze on each side for another 2-3 minutes each side. Serve fish/meat with the remaining glaze. Serves 6
