Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Morning Popovers - no filling

2 cups almond meal
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 pinch of salt
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs

Recipe Directions for Sweet Morning Popovers - no filling

  1. preheat oven to 325

  2. mix dry ingredients together

  3. mix butter, honey, vanilla and eggs until smooth

  4. add wet mixture to dry and blend well

  5. fold in any filling you desire (1C frozen blueberries, raspberries, dark chocolate, etc.)

  6. form 2 T balls of dough and place on the baking sheet about 1 inch apart

  7. bake until golden, about 12-15 minutes
