Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Chipotle Walnuts (for salads or a snack)

2 cup, in shell, edible yield (7 nuts) Walnuts, English
1 large Egg, White
0.5 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.25 tsp Allspice, Ground

Recipe Directions for Sweet Chipotle Walnuts (for salads or a snack)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In mixing bowl whisk egg white and water until frothy. Add walnuts; stir to coat completely. Transfer walnuts to strainer and allow to drain, about 5 minutes. Combine sugar and spices in large resealable plastic bag; shake to blend. Add walnuts; shake to coat thoroughly. Remove walnuts; arrange in single layer on large baking sheet. Bake 13 to 15 minutes turning halfway through baking. Remove from oven; cool completely. Sprinkle over a salad or enjoy as a snack. Yields two cups.
