A great addition to any meat entree.

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Caramelized Green Beans & Red Bell Pepper (Robert)

2 cups green beans (halves)
1 cup red bell pepper (sliced)
1/2 cup sliced onion
1/4 cup slivered almond
4 1/2 tsp brown sugar
4 tsp whipped butter

Recipe Directions for Sweet Caramelized Green Beans & Red Bell Pepper (Robert)

  1. Trim pod ends and cut green beans in half.

  2. Slice bell pepper to your preference.

  3. Slice onion to your preference.

  4. Add green beans, bell pepper, almond, and brown sugar to a zip lock bag.

  5. Moisten with water and shake to coat.

  6. Add butter and allow to partially melt and then remaining ingredients in nonstick skillet.

  7. Caramelized on medium to medium/high heat for approximately 8 minutes.

  8. Makes approximately 1 cup per serving.
