Sweet baked butternut squash with apples and nuts

Recipe Ingredients for Sweet Baked Butternut Squash

2.5 cup, cubes Squash, Winter, Butternut
145 grams Apples
2 oz Shedd's Spread Country Crock Plus Calcium and Vitamins Soft
1 serving Syrup
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
0.5 cup, chopped Pecans
0.5 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Sweet Baked Butternut Squash

  1. Peel squash & cut into small cubes

  2. Peel apple & cut into small cubes

  3. Place squash & apples in 1-in deep baking dish

  4. Add 2 TBS of water

  5. Roast at 400 for 20 minutes, stirring often

  6. Combine 1/4 C butter, 1/4 C lite syrup, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon & 1 tsp nutmeg

  7. Add 1/2 C chopped pecans to butter/syrup mixture

  8. Add butter/syrup mixture to squash/apples & roast additional 10 minutes
