Delicious and light swedish vegetarian soup. Swedes often enjoy it with some mustard.

Recipe Ingredients for Swedish Peas soup

500 grams Split Peas
1 large Onions
50 oz Water
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 Teaspoon Thyme
1 Cube Vegetable Stock Cubes

Recipe Directions for Swedish Peas soup

  1. Check the peas that they are all ok,

  2. Rinse in water,

  3. Soak in water for 12 hours,

  4. Boil them in fresh water and do away with the surface foam,

  5. Boil on moderate with the onion and salt and stock cube for approx one hour, You can now remove the onion if you want or cut it into pieces, add thyme and enjoy.
