Good Soup! Serve with crackers or crusty bread and hot sauce. For a little richer flavor add a can or two of cream corn. If to thick add a can of vegetable stock

Recipe Ingredients for Suzy's Seafood Chowder

1 purple onion
1 white onion
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
3 tbs Chopped garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cups peeled potatoes
1 1/2 cups corn
1 cup peas
1 cup carrots
1 cup celery
2 1/2 cups diced tomatoes
1 1/2 pounds large shrimp
1/2 pound clams
12 oz scallops
16 oz crab meat
8 oz clam juice
6 cups water
4 tbs Old Bay seasoning
3 tbs Garlic powder
3 tbs Italian seasoning
3 tbs Onion powder

Recipe Directions for Suzy's Seafood Chowder

  1. Chop onions, peppers and celery and set aside

  2. Peel and chop potatoes dice size-set aside

  3. Get large pot

  4. Coat bottom with olive oil

  5. Put pot on stove med-high heat til oil is hot

  6. add and saute onions, peppers, celery for a few minutes

  7. Add garlic

  8. Add sea food one at a time-you may cut any seafood smaller for your liking prior to adding

  9. continue stirring

  10. add clam juice

  11. add water

  12. add seasonings, one by one stirring after each

  13. all bouillon

  14. add corn, then peas and carrots

  15. lastly add tomatoes

  16. Simmer for 2-4 hours
