Green peppers stuffed with a seasoned ground beef, rice & tomato mixture topped with cheese!

Recipe Ingredients for Suzanne's Stuffed Peppers

16 oz lean ground beef
2 c cooked brown rice
28 oz stewed tomatoes, diced
1/4 c bbq sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 T minced dried onion
2 T brown sugar
2 t chili powder
1 t garlic powder
2 T worchester sauce
3 green peppers, halved, seeded and blanched
1 1/2 c shredded mild cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Suzanne's Stuffed Peppers

  1. Brown ground beef, rinse.

  2. Add seasonings, bbq sauce, ketchup, worchester sauce, tomatoes, simmed 10 minutes

  3. Mix in rice

  4. Place halved, seeded & blanched peppers skin side down in a 9x13 pan. Fill with meat mixture

  5. Top with cheese and bake in 350 oven until heated through and cheese is melted
