Recipe Ingredients for Suzamme's Famous Cashew Granola

4 cups oats
2/3 cup wheat germ
6 tbs sesame seeds
6 tbs sunflower seeds
1/2 cup cashews, in pieces
2/3 cup corn oil
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Suzamme's Famous Cashew Granola

  1. Mix together oats, wheat germ, sesame & sunflower seed, and nuts in large bowl.

  2. In saucepan, combine corn oil, honey, vanilla, and salt. Cool over low heat until honey is melted. Pour over the dry mixture and blend thoroughly.

  3. Spread out in a lightly greased 10X15 1-inch pan and bake at 200 degrees for 35-45 min, stirring every 10 min.

  4. Cool thoroughly and store in plastic bag or airtight container.
