Easy to make. Reduce the amount of the wasabi or serve it on the side if it is too strong, but adding just a touch to the soy sauce for dipping is good.

Recipe Ingredients for Sushi

1 cup Rice, White, Short-grain, Cooked
1 tbsp Vinegar distilled
1 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1/4 tsp Salt, Table
9 oz Crab, Alaska King, Imitation
3 sheet Nori, 10 Sheets
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1/4 tsp Wasabi

  1. To make sushi vinegar, heat vinegar, sugar and salt in microwave until sugar has dissolved. Stir into rice. Let cool slightly.

  2. Place the seaweed sheet, shiny side down on bamboo rolling sheet or on waxed paper. Place a 1-inch line of rice along the long edge of the sheet. Cut leg-style fake crab (surimi) lengthwise and place on top of the rice. Roll tightly into log shape. Moisten edge to stick it down. Repeat to make two more logs. Let sit for 5 minutes, then cut logs into disks with a very sharp knife.

  3. Mix soy sauce with wasabi to make dipping sauce.
