Recipe Directions for Sushi - Maki Rolls - Raw Without Filling

  1. Cook rice in 400 ml of water until all water has disolved (about 10 mins under lid).

  2. Mix vinegar and sugar, until vinegar has absorbed all of the sugar.

  3. Mix the vinegar and the cooked rice by flipping it without crushing the rice too much.

  4. Place nori on a rolling mat.

  5. The rice is really sticky, but if you put some cold water on your hands, it's not as sticky.

  6. Spread out rice on 2/3 of a sheet of nori, leaving the nori away from you, empty.

  7. Put whatever you feel like on the end that is towards you.

  8. Put a little bit of water on the end of the nori that hasn't been covered with rice.

  9. Roll to the end and let the roll rest.

  10. Cut the roll to 6-8 pieces with a wet knife.

  11. Serve!
