A five alarm chili that can replace a full meal! The sweetness makes the spiciness tolerable.

Recipe Ingredients for Super Spicy & Sweet Chili

16 oz kidney beans
32 oz black beans
16 oz corn
2 1/2 lbs lean ground turkey
1 small onion, diced
1/2 large green bell pepper, diced
1/2 large yellow bell pepper, diced
1/2 large orange bell pepper, diced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp crushed red pepper
5 serrano peppers, sliced
5 habanero peppers, sliced
4 jalapeno peppers, sliced
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp seasoned salt
32 oz stewed tomatoes
16 oz diced tomatoes
16 oz tomato paste

Recipe Directions for Super Spicy & Sweet Chili

  1. Sauté all of the peppers and the onions in the vegetable oil until the onions become clear. You can sauté them right in the deep pot you will use for the chili.

  2. Brown the ground turkey and then add it to the chili pot with the peppers and onions in it.

  3. Add the chili powder, seasoned salt, and crushed red pepper to the pot. Be sure to adequately coat all of the turkey.

  4. Add all of the tomatoes and the paste. Bring to a nice simmer.

  5. Add the beans and the corn. Bring to a nice simmer.

  6. Lastly, add the brown sugar to taste.
