Buckwheat, fibre, and apple pancakes - tasty tasty!!

Recipe Ingredients for Super Pancakes, mamape

1/2 cup buckwheat flour
1/4 cup wholewheat flour
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/4 cup 2% yogurt
3/5 cup 1% milk
1 medium apple
1 egg
1 egg white
2 tbsp splenda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 cup psyllium husks
1/8 cup wheat bran

Recipe Directions for Super Pancakes, mamape

  1. Mix all dry ingredients.

  2. Peel, core, and chop apple.

  3. Seperate eggs and beat egg whites.

  4. Mix all wet ingredients excepting egg whites and apple chunks.

  5. Combine wet and dry.

  6. Add in apple chunks.

  7. Fold in whites.

  8. Cook on a greased pan over a medium to high heat.
