Good tasting. Great on yougurt. Low fat but not low calorie.

Recipe Ingredients for SUPER LOW-FAT GRANOLA (NOT LOW CALORIE)

8 cups oats
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
1 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. maple extract

Recipe Directions for SUPER LOW-FAT GRANOLA (NOT LOW CALORIE)

  1. In large bowl mix oats, raisins, cranberries, apricots and almonds. Set aside. In a small saucepan, combine water, brown sugar, and salt. Cook over medium heat 3-4 minutes or until brown sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add vanilla and maple extract. Pour over oat mixture to coat.

  2. Transfer to two PAM greased 10" x 15" x 1" baking pans. Bake 30 minutes or until crisp @ 350 degrees. STIR EVERY 10 MINUTES. Cool completely on wire rack and store in air tight container.
