almost no fat banana oat muffins, made with apple sauce instead of oil and soy milk for a little added protein :}

Recipe Ingredients for Super Low Fat! Banana Oat Muffins!!

1 1/3 c flour
3/4 c oats
1/3 c sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites, beaten
1/2 c vanilla soy milk
1/4 c unsweetened apple sauce
2 1/2 medium banana, mashed

Recipe Directions for Super Low Fat! Banana Oat Muffins!!

  1. preheat over: 400 degrees

  2. grease muffin pan, no paper cups

  3. combine all dry ingredients in a blow

  4. mash banana in bowl

  5. add apple sauce and milk, stir thoroughly

  6. pour wet mixture into dry, stir till dry disappears

  7. portion into muffin pan, about 1/4 cup per tin

  8. cook for 12 min or till tooth pick comes out clean. makes 16 med. muffins
