Recipe Ingredients for Super healthful Granola Bars

4 cups Old Fashioned Oats
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 cup flax seed
11 tablespoons Soy Protein Powder
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 cup unprocessed bran
1 cup dry milk
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 tablespoons honey
1 3/4 cups applesauce
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup molasses
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 large egg whites

Recipe Directions for Super healthful Granola Bars

  1. add-1/4 cup crystaline ginger, 66 grams Body Fortress super advanced whey protein vanilla

  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  3. Line a 13x9 inch pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.

  4. Stir first 8 ingredients together in a large bowl. Set aside.

  5. Put egg whites in a small bowl and whisk together; set aside.

  6. Combine remaining ingredients together in a small saucean over medium-high heat. Stir until boiling. Allow to boil for 2 minutes (keep stirring!). Remove from heat.

  7. Mix egg whites into oat mixture.

  8. Pour honey mixture onto oat mixture and stir until it all sticks together.

  9. Dump the bowl of granola mixture into the 9x13 inch pan that you lined with foil earlier. Evenly pack the granola into pan.

  10. Cook granola bars for 15 minutes in 400 degree F oven.

  11. Take out and allow to cool completely.

  12. Pull the granola out of pan by holding the edges of aluminum foil and lifting up.

  13. Cut into 32 squares (2"x2" about)

  14. You can wrap in plastic wrap and save for later. They should last for a while.
