Recipe Ingredients for Super Garlicky Hummus

84 oz. Garbanzo Beans
16 oz Tahini
4 oz. Lemon Juice
1 cup Water
2 tablespoons Red Pepper
6 tablespoons Garlic Powder
3 tablespoons Cumin
1 tablespoon Sea salt

Recipe Directions for Super Garlicky Hummus

  1. empty 5 cans of garbanzo beans into a large bowl

  2. do not drain two of the cans

  3. DRAIN THE OIL OFF THE TAHINI (this will significantly lower the fat content.

  4. notice also no olive oil, same purpose

  5. add liquid to bowl

  6. add spices

  7. add lemon juice

  8. Blend thoroughly

  9. Serve in large bowl or on small saucers with paprika sprinkled on top

  10. A serving is 4 tablespoons

  11. Low fat whole grain crackers or whole grain low carb warmed tortillas are nice with this.
