A really easy dinner. You pretty much just dump everything in a pot and let it simmer if you have time. Can be served plain, with cornbread, or over brown rice. Ground beef can be omitted for a vegetarian version. If you're not a bean lover omit one of the cans of beans.

Recipe Ingredients for Super Easy Black Bean Chili

1 pound lean ground beef
20 ounce black beans
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for Super Easy Black Bean Chili

  1. Brown ground beef and cook onion in a medium-sized pot.

  2. Add flour and chili powder, stir.

  3. Add tomato soup and water, using the water to rinse out any soup from inside the can before adding.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and let simmer for an hour for optimum flavor and texture.

  5. Serve plain or over brown rice.
