Recipe Ingredients for Super easy Apple torta - 12 slices

1 stick butter
6 oz sugar
3 small eggs
4 oz flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch of salt
2 apples

Recipe Directions for Super easy Apple torta - 12 slices

  1. 1. Heat oven to 350 and line 7.5 or 8 inch round cake tin with parchment paper.

  2. 2. Mix butter (at room temperature) and sugar together for 3-5 min.

  3. 3. Add eggs one at the time followed by vanilla

  4. 4. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together and fold in the egg mixture.

  5. 5. Skin and cut the apples (thin wedges).

  6. 6. Pour the cake mixture to the tin and lay the apple wedges on the top.

  7. 7. Bake for 55 min and cook for 10-20 min.
