This is a really yummy recipe for fried potatoes! My kids love it for Sunday morning.

Recipe Ingredients for Sunday Morning Fried Potatoes

6 cups potatoes, large dice
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp nutritional yeast flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion salt
2 tsp chives, dried

Recipe Directions for Sunday Morning Fried Potatoes

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add a sprinkle of salt to boiling water. While at a rapid boil, add potatoes and bring back to a rapid boil. Boil steady for 3 minutes. Drain potatoes thoroughly.

  2. Place potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Add nutritional yeast flakes, garlic powder, onion salt, and dried chives. I also like to add a vegetarian soup based such as McKay's chicken seasoning (2 tsp).

  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add seasoned potatoes and fry, stirring every two minutes until darkly golden on all sides.

  4. Turn out of pan onto doubled up paper towels to soak up any remaining oil.

  5. Serve with ketchup or cheese on top!
