Recipe Ingredients for Sun-dried tomato Marinara Sauce

2 cups tomatoes, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp lemon or lime juice (about 1/2 lemon)
1 tsp pitted dates
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp rosemary
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Sun-dried tomato Marinara Sauce

  1. Blend fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil, lemon juice, dates, oregano, rosemary and salt.

  2. Add the sun-dried tomatoes an blend until mixed well. the sun-dried tomatoes will absorb excess moisture and make the sauce thicker.

  3. Will keep for 2 days in fridge.
