Recipe Ingredients for Summer Pasta Salad

10 oz mixed vegetables
16 oz Penne pasta
1/2 cup olive or salad oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh basil

Recipe Directions for Summer Pasta Salad

  1. cook pasta and mixed vegetables according to directions on box. Drain and run under cold water.

  2. In a bowl combine the rest of the ingredients and whisk together. Put pasta and vegetables into a large bowl. Pour dressing mixture over and toss everything lightly to combine.
