a tangy fruit salad we made for grandma's 82nd birthday. num!

Recipe Ingredients for Summer Fruit Salad

2 pints blueberries
5 cups strawberries, sliced
4 cups pineapple, chopped
4 tbsp lime juice
2 bananas, sliced
2 nectarines, chopped
2 kiwis, sliced
1/4 cup sugar

Recipe Directions for Summer Fruit Salad

  1. get a large serving bowl

  2. rinse all fruit

  3. chop up nectarines and toss them into the bowl

  4. clean the pineapple and chop up the usable fruit

  5. remove strawberry tops and slice or chop into bite size chunks

  6. peel and slice 2 bananas ( you may halve the slices if you'd like)

  7. peel and slice the kiwis

  8. throw all fruit into the bowl

  9. squeeze half a lime over the top

  10. stir in a quarter to a half a cup of sugar over the top

  11. chill for 20 minutes

  12. serve
