Recipe Ingredients for Summer Chili

1/2 cup chopped onions
1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup crushed tomatoes
2 teaspoons chili powder
10 1/2 ounce chicken broth
1 teaspoon cumin
1 cup dark red kidney beans
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup sliced carrots
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup chopped squash
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 cup chopped zucchini
1 teaspoon honey
1 cup chopped bell pepper

Recipe Directions for Summer Chili

In a large saucepan cook onion and garlic until tender. Add all ingredients except the spices and cook until soft. Mix in spices until well blended. Simmer ingredients for 45 minutes to an hour.
