Recipe Ingredients for sultana oat cookies

6 oz margarine
5 oz Sugar Dark Brown
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 egg
2 oz Self Raising Flour
2 oz plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
10 oz oats
4 oz sultanas

Recipe Directions for sultana oat cookies

  1. mix all dry ingredients together add the marg and then add the egg and vanilla essence last.

  2. with floured hands take a heaped teaspoon and roll into a ball place on well greased baking sheets, once you have made all the biscuit balls take a wet fork and squish them down to make a round place biscuits in a pre heated oven gas mark 4 for 30 minutes.
