Japanese hot-pot with wafer thin cuts of lovely steak, vegetables simmered in a sukiyaki broth, and a dipping egg and rice bowl.

Recipe Ingredients for Sukiyaki

1 serving Sukiyaki Sauce
1 cup, shredded Cabbage, Savoy
1/4 pkg Enoki Mushrooms (Fresh)
1 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 large Egg, Whole
0.5 cup uncooked Sushi Rice

Recipe Directions for Sukiyaki

Boil some water and sukiyaki sauce. Add a few slices of cabbage, spring onion, a large thin slice of carrot, a shitake mushroom (both for the flavour of the broth) and some enoki mushrooms. Bring to the boil then quickly reduce to simmer. Add in your steak slices one at a time. Pick out after a minute or so with chopsticks and dip into the raw egg. Then the egg-covered meat to your rice, pick out a few vegetables from the pot and eat! Enjoy!
