Recipe Ingredients for Sujeonggwa

2 oz ginger
1 oz cinnamon
6 cups water
3/4 cup honey
5 persimmons

Recipe Directions for Sujeonggwa

  1. Peel ginger and thinly slice Put ginger, cinnamon sticks, and water in large saucepan.

  2. Boil, lower heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Add sugar and combine well, then strain.

  3. Remove stems from persimmon and add to water 3 hours before serving
