Sugar and Spice Popcorn from "New Dieter's Cookbook" by Better Homes and Garden, p.57.

Recipe Ingredients for Sugar and Spice Popcorn

6 cups of air-popped plain popcorn
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Recipe Directions for Sugar and Spice Popcorn

  1. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.

  2. In a bowl, stir together sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Drizzle spice mixture over popcorn in baking pan. Toss popcorn until coated. bake in a 350 oven for 15 minutes, stirring once or twice.

  3. Transfer the hot popcorn from the baking sheet to a large piece of foil. Cool popcorn completely. Store leftovers in a tightly covered container. Makes 4 servings (1.5 cups per serving).
