twas the night before Christmas...

Recipe Ingredients for Sugar Plums

6 ounces almonds
10 ounces prunes
6 ounces dried cranberries
4 ounces raisins
6 ounces apricots
4 ounces dried cherries
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp anise seed
1/2 tsp fennel seed
1/2 tsp caraway seed
1 tsp cardamom

Recipe Directions for Sugar Plums

  1. Toast almonds.

  2. Grind almonds in food processor. Add fruit and grind.

  3. Toast spices, grind and add to fruit and nut mixture with the honey.

  4. Roll into balls. Roll with crystal sugar.
